Light of the Valleys Lutheran Church

We launched this ministry in the North Valleys in spring 2018, and started at the current location (8790 Red Rock) in August 2018. In December 2018, Joel Heckendorf became Light of the Valleys first full-time pastor. The Springs Lutheran Church

Location: 470 Rockwell Blvd Sparks, Nevada 89441


Services:

  • Sunday School at 8:30 am
  • Sunday School for all ages at 9:15am
  • Adult and Teen Bible Studies at 9:15 am
  • Refreshments and fellowship time following both services


Pastors: The Springs is served by Pastor Steven Hillmer and Vicar Jacob Brohn. Steven Hillmer has been the pastor here since The Springs began back in 2008. Before that, he served as a pastor in Atlanta, Georgia. Jacob Brohn  has been the vicar, or student pastor, here since August and will be with us until next August when he will go back to school to finish his pastoral studies.
