Shepherd of the Mountains is a Lutheran church in Reno, NV, striving to live out the Biblical command to love God, each other and our neighbors well. As a confessional Lutheran church, we still hold to the same truths which Martin Luther held to so dearly 500 years ago. Luther summed up the most important and fundamental truths of the Christian faith in the following phrases: by grace alone, through faith alone, by scripture alone. There, they serve as a constant reminder that these are the truths we believe, treasure, and teach.
