Rev. John Derme has been called by the Lord to serve His flock at Shepherd of the Mountains by leading them in Christian worship and service. To carry out this ministry, Pastor Derme is charged to faithfully feed the members of this congregation with a solid diet of Word and Sacrament. Nourished by these means of grace, God's people will naturally seek to build up the kingdom of their Lord.
We are saved through faith in Jesus Christ, trusting in His promise of forgiveness and eternal life.
Salvation is a gift from God, given freely through His grace, not earned by our works.
The Bible is the ultimate authority, guiding our beliefs and practices, above all human traditions or teachings.
Jesus Christ's life, death, and resurrection is the sole source of our salvation and hope.
