Sunday School

Who: All children age three up to eighth grade

What: Learn about God through the study of Bible stories

Where: Shepherd of the Mountains Classroom building

When: Sunday mornings @ 10:30 am

Why: Our Lord tells us in Matthew 28:19 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations," and the Apostle Peter writes, "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (the word 'grow' translated, literally means to 'keep on growing.') Our Sunday School exists to assist parents in following the Lord's command to 'disciple' their children.

For Our Parents

This year the children will learn lessons which point to the coming of Jesus from the Old Testament and which tell about Jesus’ ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection from the New Testament.

If your child misses a week of Sunday School, their teacher will put the lesson in your mailbox so that you can read the lesson with them at home.  On the back of each lesson sheet is a "Note to the Parents." These notes give valuable insight into the Bible Lessons and give ideas for discussion with your children at home. Please take time to read the notes.
